Festival Visual Identity Redesign

HorrorHound Weekend is a convention to celebrate the horror genre by hosting panels, celebrity meet and greets, vendors, tattoo artists, and more. I executed a hypothetical brand redesign that better represents the values of the convention while communicating a consistent visual identity.

Original Branding

The original visual identity includes poorly considered color contrast, inconsistent typefaces, and an always changing color palette. The promotional graphics are cluttered and hard to read, and the lack of consistent brand colors creates a disconnect between each year’s designs.
